Classes, Workshops, Crops & Events
11:00am - 3:00pm in my Beltsville home studio. This is a private workshop for guests of Ms. Jean Spells. Bring whatever item(s) you would like to “bling out.” This is a free class; however, you must make a bling purchase of at least $10 from my inventory. I have a huge inventory of bling. Feel free to make additional purchases from my store.
Learn to make custom diamond art canvases on your own computer or tablet. This class will teach you how to: use your own photo, upload an image from your device, create a drawing and turn it into a diamond art grid. Included in this class is the opportunity to make a small rainbow diamond art project that can be used on a gift box, tag, or card. Once you learn the process, you will be able to make canvases as large as your printer will allow.
This class will be held at MochaTown, my home studio in Beltsville Md. Turn a ½ size Composition Book into your own vault of personal thoughts, ideas and plans. All materials: ½ Composition Book, Leather flap, Lock & Key and many, many embellishments, will be provided. You will first cover your book and decorate the inside cover with stenciling before you begin to embellish to your hearts content.
Join Zelma at my home studio and “crop til you drop.” You will receive ample crop space, light snacks and a special MochaTown gift. Feel free to order out and eat in. You will have the opportunity to receive a 10% discount on purchases made the day of the crop at my store. As the host, Zelma will receive 10% of all sales in “Debbie Dollars” to use to make a purchase at my store or at a future 2026 event.

You’ll make each of the items in the workshop, receive a special gift from me and receive written instructions and a supply list so you can make more at home.
Be sure to bring your basic took kit.
Turn an ordinary cigar box into a beautiful treasure box by adding designer cardstock, Tim Holtz hardware, buttons and ephemera. Everything you need will be provided. However, there are items in my store that you can purchase to make your masterpiece an “over the top” piece of art.
Please meet me in Skaggsville, MD @ Cedar Lane Elementary School where I will be selling, decorated mini composition books, sticky notepads and journals.
